COMFORT ZONE

July 1st – August 30th, 2026

Cinema under the stars, music, art sessions, and meditation – the summer COMFORT ZONE is back. For the next two months, we invite you to participate in numerous cultural events dedicated to adults and children. This year's theme is JOURNEY.

Outdoor cinema screenings will transport us to distant geographic locations, concerts, thanks to the Bled project, to "Metropolis," created in Fritz Lang's 1927 painting, and meditation sessions will be an opportunity to journey into one's inner self. We begin on July 1st with a screening of the film "Paths of Life" as part of the outdoor cinema program.

CONCERTS

July 3, 8:30 PM – BLED plays to METROPOLIS

Bled is comprised of drummer Sławek Koryzno (also known from the Tomasz Chyła Quintet, Leszek Możdżer Quartet, and Nene Heroine) and Emil Miszk – one of the most talented and hard-working trumpeters of the younger generation, a jazz arranger and composer, and winner of the 2019 Fryderyk Award for Debut of the Year – Jazz (for his album with the Algorhythm project). The Gdańsk-based duo draws significant inspiration from classic sci-fi cinema – the band's name comes directly from Frank Herbert's "Dune." During the concert, you can hear material composed for one of the classics of the silent film era – Fritz Lang's 1927 "Metropolis." A shortened version of the film itself will be projected on a large screen behind the musicians.

July 11, 8:30 PM – YOUTH NOVELS

Youth Novels, Ania Babrakowska and Emil Nowak, create a moving and sensitive sound. They have collaborated with Chris Allen and Jason Mitchell, producers RY X and PJ Harvey. The duo has performed at Open'er Festival, OFF Festival, Spring Break, and Męskie Granie, and has also supported numerous artists, including Hooverphonic, Father John Misty, and Oh Wonder. Their music draws inspiration from bands like Daughter and London Grammar, but their work is dominated by authenticity and their own, recognizable sensitivity.

July 24, 8:30 PM – NIECHĘĆ

"Niechęć" music is constantly evolving. Stemming from a jazz background, balancing between rage and melancholy, Niechęć has now veered towards trance rhythms and synthesizer sounds (without losing its improvisational and cinematic character). Niechęć has performed over 400 concerts, both on regular solo tours and at festivals (Polish and international), including Open'er Festival, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, and Colours of Ostrava (Czech Republic).

Tickets: PLN 40 (available at the Elektrownia box office and at www.mcswelektrownia.pl)
Tickets available online and in-store from Monday, June 22nd.
