The film tells the story of Poles, former concentration camp prisoners, who are liberated by the Americans in 1945 and returned to the camp (for refugees). Long-term confinement in a concentration camp inevitably leads to psychological deviance. The question arises whether someone who has survived the hell of the camp will ever be able to forget it.
