The Mazovian Centre for Contemporary Art Elektrownia in Radom, together with Best Film, joins forces with the Słonie na Balkonie Foundation to jointly take care of the mental health of children and young people and joins the nationwide campaign Your ticket is 500 miles of hope.

If you go to the Elektrownia cinema on Saturday, September 6th to see the film "500 miles" , all proceeds from the tickets from the above-mentioned screening on that day will be donated to the statutory activities of the Elephants on the Balcony Foundation .

In Poland, as many as 630,000 children require psychological support each year. At the same time, the average wait time for an appointment with a child psychologist is 265 days, and there is only one child psychiatrist for over 12,000 children and adolescents.

The Elephants on the Balcony Foundation has been helping children and young people experiencing mental health crises for years, providing them with free psychotherapy and running a support line for parents and guardians.

Every ticket purchased for the screening on September 6 means real support – more hours of free therapy for children who need it.

500 MILES, drama, directed by Morgan Matthews, Ireland, UK, Cyprus 2026, 102'

Teenager Finn ( Roman Griffin Davis , " Jojo Rabbit ") and his younger brother Charlie ( Dexter Sol Ansell , " A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms ") run away from home to avoid being separated after their parents' separation. Their destination is the wild west coast of Ireland and the home of their beloved grandfather John ( Bill Nighy , " Love Actually ") – the last safe haven in their crumbling world.

Ahead of them lies a 500-mile journey, during which they must rely on their wits, charm, and the kindness of the people they meet—especially the free-spirited street musician Kait ( Maisie Williams , " Game of Thrones ").
