An album has been published accompanying Ryszard Woźniak's exhibition "Lunapark Europa," presented at the Mazovian Centre for Contemporary Art "Elektrownia" in Radom from September 25 to November 22, 2026. This is the third project showcasing the individual artistic explorations of the legendary Gruppa's participants – following exhibitions by Ryszard Grzyb ("In the Very Center of Life Is Painting," 2023) and Paweł Kowalewski ("The Failure of Reason," 2024). Ryszard Woźniak offers a selection of over 100 paintings created over the last 25 years, including the fully premiere, titular series.
The exhibition's titular and unifying motif is the Warsaw amusement park in Stegny-Rożek, which operated from 1995 to 1998 and was closed after an accident that killed a child. The artist used the abandoned, decaying amusement park facilities as a starting point for a metaphorical narrative about the attitudes of individuals and social groups towards Poland's aspirations and presence in the European Union—the enthusiasm, hope, skepticism, and disappointment of the last quarter-century.
The album contains critical texts by Anda Rottenberg, Waldemar Baraniewski and Borysław Czyżak, an interview with the artist by Anka Mituś and original texts by Ryszard Woźniak: "Autoreferat", "Pogląd na sztuki", "Plunderography – the art of impersonal gesture", as well as full photographic documentation of the works presented at the exhibition.
